Late Surrender
With Atlantic City Blackjack you have the option of late surrender which means that the dealer will first check to see if she has Blackjack and if not you will be allowed to surrender provided that all insurance bets have been resolved. By doing this you will give up half of your original bet for the freedom of not having to play out the rest of the hand.
Splitting Rules.
Once you have split a pair of Aces and in the event of you being dealt a card with the value of 10 then you will have a total value of 21 and not Blackjack.
You will be able to split a total of 3 times and this will give you 4 hands in all.
You will not be allowed to re-split Aces.
Once you have split a pair of aces, you can only receive one additional card and you will then be forced to stand.
Double Down Rules
You can Double Down after you have received you first two cards.
You can Double Down when splitting Aces.
The cost of Doubling down is equal to your opening bet.
You are allowed to double down after a split.
You can not Double Down once you have been dealt Blackjack.
Insurance
Insurance pays out 2:1 odds but is not relevant to the hands formed after Splitting, or by Doubling Down. Your insurance bet will be forfeited in the event of the dealer not getting Blackjack.
